Rescue Dogs all dead in 7 months? Empty Rescue Dogs all dead in 7 months?

I was moving some files around and I found a couple hi res pics of some of the rescue dogs that were used for the rescue and recovery that went on. I recall something I read about all the dogs dying from "some kind" of unknown illness, or something to that effect, I wonder if anyone else remembers any kind of story like that.
