Is the USA's REPUBLIC system of government gone?
Has the "Old Republic" fallen? Does the USA still have the same system of government that it had at the end of the Civil War, let alone at the time of founding?

I dunno what system I grew up under but it's definitely changed from that. Even in the ten years or whatever I've been out of high school it's changed.

I think the attempt to overthrow, but still keep for appearances, the American Republic started in earnest at the beginning of the Twentieth Century -- Tavistock, and the other 'round-table organisations' eg, RIIA, CFR etc. Another big influence came with the Rockefeller family, particularly the grandchildren of John D..
I'm not particularly sure the specific influence on America during WWI.
During WWII William Stephenson aka Intrepid's network of intelligence which in Camp X trained many of the would-be Establishment. Intrepid also kick-started in earnest the US Intelligence Community, notably the CIA aka The Secret Team.
In c1947 there was the advisory/policy group known as Majestic 12.
Then there is those two coups upon America known in history as the assassination of JFK and Watergate.
The America of today is not the America it was intended to be by the framers of the Declaration of Independence.
Instead of the Civil War a better date may be 1836, was America the same at the time of the battle of the Alamo mission. Whist Texas at that stage was not part of America it did allow Texas independence and a lot of the subsequent westward expansion of America may not have been possible, eg the state of California.
Without the Alamo, and the westward expansion, and a separation of America between North & South (if the South won the Civil War), what would have been the outcome of World War 2? I ask as when America entered WW2, their military might was a decisive factor in the Allies winning WW2. Eisenhower and D-Day come to mind as examples of American decisive influence in WW2.

Considering Stuart Smalley forced his way into the Senate, and Sotomayer is an occultist witch. Looks like a major socialist coup' is gong on.
